AI Output License Policy

1. Purpose

This policy defines ownership and licensing rights for content generated using the AUTHORMated platform.

AUTHORMated is designed to empower creators by enabling the generation of manuscripts, stories, artwork concepts, and publishing assets through artificial intelligence systems guided by user prompts.

2. User Ownership of Generated Works

Users retain full ownership of the works generated through AUTHORMated when those works originate from the user’s prompts, story seeds, or creative input.

This includes the right to:

• publish generated works
• sell generated works
• adapt or modify generated works
• license generated works commercially
• register copyright where applicable

AUTHORMated does not claim ownership of manuscripts or creative works generated for users.

3. Commercial Use Rights

Unless otherwise stated in a specific plan or licensing tier, users are granted a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free right to commercially exploit the content generated through AUTHORMated.

Users may distribute generated works through:

• Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing
• self-publishing platforms
• personal websites
• traditional publishers
• film, television, or audio adaptation licensing

AUTHORMated does not collect royalties on independently published works unless a separate distribution agreement exists.

4. Platform Improvement License

By using the platform, users grant AUTHORMated a limited license to process prompts and generated outputs for the purpose of:

• operating the service
• improving system performance
• diagnosing system issues
• refining generation quality

This limited license does not grant AUTHORMated permission to publish, sell, or redistribute user manuscripts.

5. Responsibility for Final Works

Users are responsible for reviewing and editing all generated content before publication.

AUTHORMated does not guarantee:

• originality of generated text
• copyright eligibility
• absence of similarity to existing works

Users are responsible for ensuring compliance with copyright law, publishing platform rules, and distribution requirements.

6. Collaborative Works

If multiple users contribute prompts or creative input toward a project within AUTHORMated, ownership of the resulting work is determined by the agreement between those users.

AUTHORMated is not responsible for resolving ownership disputes between collaborators.

7. Platform Generated Assets

Certain assets generated by the platform may include:

• cover concepts
• marketing descriptions
• taglines
• promotional copy

These assets are licensed to the user for use in connection with their works.

8. License Termination

If a user account is terminated due to violation of platform policies, the user retains rights to works generated prior to termination.

However, access to the platform and its tools may be revoked.

9. Policy Updates

AUTHORMated may update this policy periodically to reflect legal developments or platform changes.

Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of updated terms.
